Boudh Distillery Pvt. Ltd. (BDPL) organized a one-day free Health Camp in support of Care Hospital at Jagannath Road Shyamsundarpur. Additional District Medical Officer (ADMO) Kishor Kumar Pattnaik inaugurated the Health Camp in the presence of BDPL officials COO of BDPL, Prem kumar Kanojia and Manager, HR of BDPL Ashok Dash.
450 people from Sampoch Panchayat including 12 villages namely Syamsundarpur, Barajhuli, Bharatapur, Sampoch, Fakirpur, Bhubaneswar, Dimirijhuli, Harakrushnapur, Bishnupur, Titrikata, Chandipur and Rambhikata availed health services at the daylong Health Camp. In the camp, consultation by specialist doctors from Medicine, ENT, Urology and Gynaecology disciplines were provided to the patients along with free medicines.
This Apart, for the betterment of the local people, BDPL has carried out a lot of development activities before such as distribution of school bags, installation of RO water purifiers in five local schools and two public places, Health camp for peripheral villages and water distribution to devotees during Rath Yatra. Recently, to encourage young minds of Boudh, the company has launched scholarship program named "BDPL Vidwaan" which is going to be an annual programme. While, this year, the company has taken up TB eradication campaign- TB Free Sampoch, joining hands with district TB free mission in Sampoch Panchayat (its home Panchayat).
