Uday Shanker Prasad is the chairman of BDPL Group. He has more than fifty years of experience in the liquor trade (Country Spirit & IMFL) in the states of Odisha, Jharkhand/Bihar & West Bengal. Besides decades of experience and knowledge in liquor trade, he also has an impeccable track record in running the business successfully. Apart from the liquor trade he is a partner in Arya Hotel in Ranchi. Under the visionary leadership of the chairman, the group has undertaken challenging projects and has surpassed its contemporaries in short span.

Amit Sahu is the director of the Company having more than two decades of rich business exposure. He has done his B.Com (Hons) from Delhi University, and MBA from Clark University, USA. He is also the Director/Partner of the following companies: Director - Santevita Hospital (Multi-specialty and NABH accredited) a modern multi-speciality hospital in Ranchi; Director - Sahu Alcohols Pvt. Ltd., engaged in the liquor trade in Jharkhand Partner - Silica Bottling & Blending Enterprises, bottling plant for Pernod Ricard.

He envisions Boudh Distillery to be a fully integrated unit with in-house bottling plant for both IMFL & Country liquor and having its own IMFL brands within the next three years; and not only be the largest grain based in Odisha but in whole of Eastern India.

Biggest learning from his business journey: "The function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers. A successful businessperson always has a motivated and dedicated team to back him. We need to delegate responsibilities and empower our team so that they have a feeling of being stakeholders in the company".

If not working, you will find him either Hiking/ Trekking or around wildlife.

Ritesh Sahu with an experience of over 22 years in the liquor industry spearheads BDPL Group as the Managing Director. Having completed his MBA from Sydenham Institute of Management (Mumbai), he got into family business and has been managing over many micro-distilleries in Odisha. He is a highly successful businessman currently holding the position of Managing Director in all the four companies. In addition, he has also been a pioneer in the development of liquor business in the state of Odisha. His tireless work, unwavering commitment and exemplary leadership have turned each of these companies into highly successful venture.

Even after he entered business, he continued to pursue his other interests with passion and perseverance. He is passionate about travel, wild life, and when he has free time, he likes to play cricket. He is actively involved in making a change in peoples lives through CSR activities.

Ritesh Sahu believes in combining innovation, research led analysis, risk taking, and a learning organization for success.

Siddharth Sahu is the director of Boudh Distillery. He graduated with a BA (Economics and Social Science) Honours degree from The University of Manchester, where he specialized in Accounting and Finance. He also holds a M.Sc. Accounting and Finance degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science, UK. He has been involved in Boudh Distillery and other liquor business setup of the Sahu Family that includes micro distilleries and bottling plants in Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand; and is a director of Hotel Arya, a 4 star hotel in Ranchi. Sidharth dreams of a constant growth and evolution, and wants the group to achieves the 'best of its kind' status in it's respective industrial categories.

Not only is he versatile in his professional journey, Siddharth is also extremely passionate about his hobbies. He loves playing Football, Cricket (also part of the university cricket teams), Music (Trained in Indian Classical Music in Vocals for 3 years), Photography and Reading (Fiction and Non Fiction books on a broad range of topics)

Harshit Sahu is the Director of Baldeo Sahu Infra. He completed his Graduation- B.Com (Hons.)- Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi and Post Graduated in MBA from Bond University, Queensland (Australia)

Harshit is not just dynamic in his work life, but also likes spending his away-from-work time on outdoors. As a sports enthusiast, he represented his schools in athletics, Hockey, Cross-country, Cricket and Football (played U-19 Nationals for Rajasthan). Not just that, he is also into Body Building, weight training, loves Indian politics and writing Poetry.

Besides Baldeo Sahu Infra, his other business ventures include Hotel Arya, Bottling units for IMFL and country spirit in Ranchi and Kolkata. He has also been working in the liquor industry for 15 years and has been managing various out still liquor shops in Bolangir district.

What he dreams as his future is the successful growth of liquor industry and wants to expand his business to other states through strategic partnerships. He wants a successful transition of company by investing in new ventures in order to grow and strengthen the concrete foundation that was established over a century ago.

Rahul Sahu is the Director of Kwality Bottlers. He completed his BCOM in India and PGDBA from Cardiff Business School, University of Wales. He joined the family venture as a Director. Quick to realize the potential of this emerging sector, he setup a CS Bottling in Kolkata - Farinni Eleven up. His other businesses include HUF business, Silica Bottling (Pernod Ricard), and Santevita Hospital, Ranchi. Rahul is a pragmatist and has no illusions about easy success in business. He believes with innovation, diversification, the company can be expanded globally. Boudh Distillery was dream-come-true after 18 years and that makes him a strong believer of patience and perseverance. Never let go of one's dream is the success mantra that he follows.

As an outdoor enthusiast, Rahul devotes considerable time in fitness, adventure travelling and designing.

A senior director of Kishore Prasad Bijay Prasad Beverages, Sanjay Sahu started his business career soon after completing his graduation from Hansraj College, Delhi University. He spent years in liquor trade (country liquor and IMFL) in state of Odisha and thus gained valuable experience in this industry. He has been actively involved in BDPL group businesses, and his primary focus is country liquor.

An ardent badminton fan, he also loves to spend time doing rifle shooting, travelling and trekking. He dreams to make BDPL number one in India and also wants to establish a silica-bottling unit in India. He feels self-learning is the best learning and has enormous value. "Formal education will make living, but self learning will make you a fortune." he adds
